Course Overview

The Level 2 Award in HACCP for Catering course is aimed at caters and other food handlers. Te course is intended for candidates already working in catering and those who are preparing to work in the industry. The course will also be useful for those involved in maintain HACCP in a catering environment, and for those who are or will be part of a HACCP team.

 

On completion of this course delegates will have knowledge and understanding of the concept and benefits of HACCP and apply the principles of HACCP within a catering business.

6 - 9 hours.

 

Course Prerequisite

There are no formal prerequisites for this course, although it is strongly recommended that delegates hold a level 2 food safety certificate or equivalent.

Course Assessment Process

Multiple choice question paper, consisting of 30 questions. The examination lasts 1 hour. 20/30 is the pass mark

Course Fee

£ 419 + VAT for up to 12 delegates, Plus £ 10 +VAT per delegate for the HABC Exam. This is based on the course being run at your premises. The fee includes all tuition, manuals, exam fees (Where the £10 per delegate is paid) and on successfully passing the exam certificates for each delegate from the HABC. There are no hidden extras all course costs are covered. Venues can be sourced for an extra fee.

There are no formal renewal procedures for this course although delegates should keep their knowledge up to date.
