HSE First Aid at Work
Refresher Course
In - house price for up
to 12 delegates - £ 749 + VAT
 This 2-day course is
designed to refresh current
first aid at work
certificate holders and
covers all aspects of the
first aid at work course.
This course can be taken up
to 3 months before the
expiry date of their
certificate. The new
certificate will then take
effect from the date of
expiry. Or up to 28 days
after the certificate expiry
date.
Once renewed the certificate
is valid for a further 3
years.
The course syllabus includes:
Acts & Regulations Governing First Aid
Responsibilities of the First Aider
Primary Assessment
Top to Toe Survey
Recovery Position
CPR For Adults
Hypoxia & Hypoxic Conditions (including
Choking, Asthma, Fume Inhalation & Drowning)
Condition Affecting Circulation
(including Shock, Heart Attacks, Angina, Anaphylactic Shock
& Fainting)
Bleeding
Head Injuries
Other Serious Illnesses (including
Stroke, Epilepsy & Diabetes)
Burns
Poisons
Bone Joint & Muscle Injuries (including
Spinal Injuries)
Our experienced trainers will
make this course fun, interesting, practical
and relevant to your workplace.
Successful candidates will be
able to act as first aiders in the work
place. The certification is valid for 3
years and can be renewed by participating in
a first aid at work refresher course up to 3
months before the expiry date of the current
certificate.
