Course Overview

Our Basic Fire Awareness Training Course is designed to give delegates a basic awareness of fire safety within their workplace as required by The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Under these reforms all staff must be given basic training on what their responsibilities are during a fire and how they can leave the building safely. Staff must also be aware of how to prevent a fire occurring and what they can do to aid this. Course Duration

2 hours, usually run over 1 day 10:30 - 12:30.

 

Course Prerequisite

There are no formal prerequisites for this course. Please inform us of any learning or physical special needs that any delegates may have prior to the course, so that we can cater for these.

Practical fire extinguisher use can be added to this course for an extra fee. An additional 1 hour is required for the practical Fire Extinguisher element, as well as a suitable space to carry out this element. For this course to be affective we require information on your company fire procedures prior to the course so that the course is relevant for your staff and complies with The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

 

Course Assessment Process

This course is continually assessed by the trainer.

 

Course Fee

£ 379 + VAT for up to 12 delegates. This is based on the course being run at your premises. The fee includes all tuition, manuals and certificates. There are no hidden extras all course costs are covered. Venues can be sourced for an extra fee.

 

Course Renewal

It is recommended that delegates under go refresher training every 3 years or when anything significant changes within your premises or working practices.
