All food
handlers must comply with the Food Hygiene
(England) Regulations 2006. Under these
regulations it is a requirement that people
handling food must receive adequate
training. This 1 day CIEH course will cover
the minimum requirements and is national
recognised in the food industry.
The course syllabus includes:
Introduction to food safety
Law
Food safety hazards
Taking temperatures
Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding of foods
Cooking, hot holding and re-heating of foods
Food handlers
Principles of safe food storage
Cleaning
Food premises and equipment
