This one day emergency first
aid course is designed
specifically for schools and
other education
establishments. Many schools
recognise the importance of
first aid knowledge for all
staff and this course is
suitable for teachers
and support staff alike to
be of assistance when an
emergency happens.
Like all organisations schools must as a minimum requirement, appoint a person to take charge of the first aid arrangements including looking after first aid equipment and facilities, calling the emergency services when required and accident reporting.
There should be an appointed person available to take control of all first aid arrangements at all times when people are at work.
The course syllabus below is a starting point, but can be tailored to meet any specific requirements you may have.
