Appointed Person First Aid Course In - house price for up to 12 delegates - £ 325 + VAT
All organisations must as a minimum requirement, appoint a person to take charge of the first aid arrangements including looking after first aid equipment and facilities, calling the emergency services when required and accident reporting.
There should be an appointed person available to take control of all first aid arrangements at all times when people are at work.
The course syllabus below is a starting point, but can be tailored to meet any specific requirements you may have.
What is first aid Acts & Regulations Governing First Aid Role of the Appointed Person (including maintenance of an appropriate first aid kit, calling the emergency services, triage, action after an incident) Primary Assessment Recovery Position CPR for Adults Choking Asthma Conditions Affecting Circulation (including Shock, Heart Attacks, Angina, Fainting and Anaphylactic Shock, includes the effective use of an 'Epi Pen') Bleeding Bone Joint & Muscle Injuries Head Injuries
